Students need to be a priority

This is an open appeal to help the Harborside Elementary community. The current CVESD Board of Education and Superintendent have turned their backs on the West side. The most recent example is the abandonment of the only green space in the neighborhood of Harborside. A tarp cannot cover up the lack of leadership, collaboration with the city and County HHSA. Leadership matters. And this is another example of failing those most in need of attention and support. Why do our students most in need always have to be last when it comes to priorities?
