Promises2Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a brighter future for current and former foster children in San Diego, is asking the community to come together to help create lasting change for foster children this holiday season. The Give From Your Heart Holiday Gift Drive invites the community to support foster children who deserve a brighter future.
In addition to traditional holiday gifts, Promises2Kids is asking the community to make a difference with a gift that will have lasting impact. The community’s generosity offers the chance to experience joy, safety, and opportunity when foster children need it most. Monetary donations can be made online or by texting PROMISES to 707070.
“We are so grateful to see an outpour of love and support for foster children during the holidays year after year,” said Tonya Torosian, CEO of Promises2Kids in a press release. “This year, we want to provide foster children with a gift that will have lasting impact for years to come. Promises2Kids annually provides over 2,000 current and former foster children in San Diego County with the tools, opportunities, and guidance they need to address the circumstances that brought them into foster care, overcome the difficulties of their past, and grow into healthy and successful adults.
