Two National City brothers and another man were sentenced Tuesday to prison for their roles in shooting two men following an argument at a Chula Vista bar. One of the victims nearly died after being in intensive care for a month.
All the courtroom seats were filled at the sentencing of Paul Alberto Mariscal, 29, who was sentenced to 18 years and eight months in prison by Chula Vista Superior Court Judge Theodore Weathers.

Oswaldo Mariscal, 23, received eight years in prison. Manuel Cadena, 30, of Spring Valley, was sentenced to 14 years and eight months. Weathers gave them each credit for serving 216 days in jail and fines of approximately $1,504.
