I absolutely agree with your opinion piece of April 6. There would be no “bad news” to report if elected officials (in this case, Councilman Jerry Cano) behaved appropriately. To make matters worse, Mr. Cano attempts to deflect scrutiny by accusing his council colleague, Mona Rios who is trying to hold him accountable, of sexual harassment! Really?!! As for Councilman Mendivil, he might want to check his bible to read what it says about colleagues who are cheating the system.
