Chula Vista’s Got Talent entries are now on call

Priscilla Galindu, a young Chula Vista wife and mother, won the grand prize in last year’s Chula Vista’s Got Talent contest.

Calling all talented singers, dancers, musicians and other performers — it’s time to enter the 2018 Chula Vista’s Got Talent contest. This year’s first-place winner gets a front of line ticket to audition for NBC-TV’s season 14 of America’s Got Talent and two tickets to attend one of this year’s “America’s Got Talent” live shows.

Chula Vista’s Got Talent entry is free and open to all age contestants who live in Chula Vista — children through adults. Advance contest entry is recommended to get a guaranteed audition time on July 12. Contest information and complete entry forms are available at www.terranovaplaza.com/got-talent.

Auditions for Chula Vista’s Got Talent will be held on July 12 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Terra Nova Plaza, located at 394 East H St. in Chula Vista. Judges will view audition performances to select the contestants who will advance to the Chula Vista’s Got Talent semifinals on July 19 at 7 p.m. The judges at the semifinal performances will select top scoring contestants to compete in the Chula Vista’s Got Talent finals at 7 pm. on July 26. The public is invited to attend the audition, semifinals and finals.

This is the third annual Chula Vista’s Got Talent contest but the first time the grand prize winner will get a front of line pass to audition for “America’s Got Talent.” Priscilla Galindu, a young Chula Vista wife and mother, won the grand prize in last year’s Chula Vista’s Got Talent contest.
