With a spirit of determination and a singular focus to make a difference, 35-year-old hospital administrator Neerav Jadeja has already had a positive impact on Paradise Valley Hospital in National City and its Bayview Behavioral Health Campus in Chula Vista.
“Paradise Valley Hospital plays a vital healthcare role in South Bay—primarily because we are located in an underserved area,” Jadeja said. “ The ability to provide a financially stable acute care hospital in National City and surrounding communities means those most in need are able to maintain access to healthcare. Our hospital’s stability allows us to pursue our mission to save lives and provide jobs.”
Although the 291-bed Paradise Valley Hospital services many affluent and middle-income patients, it was the underserved patient population that drew Jadeja to his job. Citing Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you want to see in the world,” he is committed to ensuring all of the hospital’s patients receive the highest level of care and compassion.
In fact, in the last few years, Paradise Valley has won numerous national healthcare awards, including being among the 2013 “Top 15 Health Systems in the Nation” by Truven Health, an “A” from the Leapfrog Group for patient safety, and the only South Bay hospital to be ranked a “Top-Performing Hospital” by The Joint Commission.
Jadeja earned a master’s of science degree in healthcare administration and an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
