Ivey Ranch Park Association is accepting volunteer applications for its 2025 Summer Concert Fundraisers at the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista.
Volunteers, ages 21 and older, will staff the Beer Garden Tent during select concerts through early October. The goal is to raise $45,000 to help cover nearly six months of feed for the nonprofit’s therapy horses.

“It’s summertime again, which means we’re cranking up the fun with the return of the Summer Concert Fundraiser,” said Tonya Danielly, executive director of Ivey Ranch Park Association. “We are so excited to join forces once more with the North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre to raise funds for our therapy horses. Lending a hand at the Beer Garden Tent is such a great way to support our mission while enjoying amazing live music.”

Volunteers will primarily serve as cashiers checking IDs and opening cans of beer, while a smaller group will act as bartenders preparing mixed drinks. An in-person orientation is required before volunteering for the first time. Participants are encouraged to sign up for at least five concerts, with shifts available on a first-come, first-served basis.
This year’s concert lineup includes Billy Idol, Willie Nelson, Little Big Town, Nelly and Luis R. Conriquez. Most volunteers will be stationed in the lawn area, which offers a view of the stage during the performances.

Volunteers will earn community service hours that can be redeemed for discounted horseback riding lessons or purchases at the Ivey Ranch store.
