The Village of Escaya debuts new multifamily designs

The Village of Escaya in Otay Ranch unveiled six new multifamily townhome models priced from the high $300,000s, for a total of 27 beautifully decorated models to tour. Strata by Shea Homes is priced from the high $300,000s and starts at 1,407 square feet, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Flora by Brookfield Residential is priced from the high $300,000s and starts at 1,287 square feet with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. To date, over 200 homes by Brookfield Residential, CalAtlantic Homes and Shea Homes, have been contracted.

The Village of Escaya is located off Main Street and Heritage Road in Chula Vista. To reach the community from I-805, take the Main Street exit and drive east, turn left onto the new extension of Heritage Road and follow the signs to the Escaya Welcome Center.
HomeFed Corporation, the master developer of the award-winning North County community of San Elijo Hills, is also the master developer of Escaya. Approved plans call for the development of a 450-acre walkable village, enlivened by a 30,000-square-foot Village Center, a beautifully equipped 8-acre community park, off-leash dog park and a private resort-style swim club with fitness center for residents scheduled to open this summer.

“Surrounded by miles of open space in the Otay River valley and a defined village boundary, Escaya is designed as an intimate enclave with paths and paseos connecting everything in the neighborhoods,” said Halé Richardson, director of marketing for HomeFed Corporation, which is planned for 992 for-sale homes and 273 apartments.

Escaya neighborhoods feature a variety of two-story floorplans for a broad range of buyers, including singles, families with children, multi-generational households, empty nesters and retirees. Floorplans for the single-family detached homes range from approximately 1,833 to 3,680 square feet and are priced from the low $500,000s to the $700,000s.
Architectural highlights include spacious great rooms that gracefully connect to the outdoors, stunning California rooms, gourmet kitchens and beautifully appointed master suites.

Families at Escaya will have access to high performing schools at Wolf Canyon Elementary, Rancho Del Rey Middle School and Otay Ranch High School.
