TAVA’s beer and music fest postponed

The Third Avenue Village Association has postponed the June 4 Amps & Ales event.
After a two-year pandemic hiatus, Amps & Ales was returning to Third Avenue on June 4 from 1-4 p.m. For the first time, part of Third Avenue would have been closed, and along with local breweries, distilleries and wineries, the event was going to feature live music for the first time, along with local food vendors.

Normally held at Memorial Park, this year it was expanding the event’s footprint, with the event being held in the park and between F Street and Park Way being open to the public to walk through downtown.

“TAVA is focused on presenting elevated community events that highlight our rich culture and history,” stated TAVA District Manager Dominic Li Mandri in an email. “As we have spent the last few months developing Amps and Ales, we felt it had not met the caliber of event we can be proud to present to our San Diego and South Bay. We are planning an exceptional experience and will be ready for attendees this coming September.”
People who have purchased tickets for the event can be refunded, or the tickets purchased will be valid for the new date.
