Over the past few years dozens of solar companies have opened up here in San Diego, but only one was there at the beginning. Since 2009 Solar Alliance of America has become the largest, exclusive residential solar contractor in San Diego County by installing over 30,000 solar panels on residential homes. This month Solar Alliance of America is giving away two free Charger tickets to any homeowner who receives a free evaluation. Certain restrictions apply. Over the past 3 years the Solar Alliance Foundation (www.solaralliancefoundation.org) has given over $300,000 worth of free Solar Electric systems to disabled veterans that have financial need. The non profit organization is a very unique organization.
What has always separated Solar Alliance from its competition is the affordability of their solar systems. They are currently promoting the HERO program which allows homeowners the opportunity to install a system with no money down and pay for the system with federal tax dollars and utility savings. The system is paid for through your property tax. Currently, there is very little credit requirement. “We have had homeowners get approved with FICO scores as low as 400.” Says Mr. Rose. “ I have been in the Solar Industry since 1984 and this is the best program I have ever seen.”
