Slide into Chula Vista’s secret gastronomic offering

New to the Chula Vista catalog of eateries is San Diego Sliders Company, a very casual establishment with a cool concept. You won’t find the name on Yelp or even Google Maps just yet; this place is currently and literally a secret spot in Chula Vista that you can try now.

Located in a familiar renovated space that once housed a steakhouse, owner Dale Stansberry’s vision for a simple family spot that serves sliders and shakes has taken shape and is coming to life. San Diego Sliders serves, you guessed it: sliders.

Sliders are small burgers or sandwiches but don’t let the size deceive you. These sliders are very filling and no matter what you’re craving, they’ve got just the taste to satisfy your mood.

Offering eight to 10 different sliders to choose from on certain days (including menu staples and specials), there’s a slider for you.

Any slider can be ordered in duos or trios. There’s also a “Tour De Slider” option for those craving three different flavors. Depending on the day, choices may include the Classic Burger slider, Mac n Cheese slider, Chicken n waffle, Garlic Bread Meatball, Spicy Philly, BBQ Chicken, Hawaiian Pulled Pork, Chipotle Salmon, Jalapeño Turkey and the Adobo Slider.

Though the official grand opening is slated for September, San Diego Sliders is open for business now, fine tuning their regular menu offerings and specials, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

The restaurant is located at 534 Broadway, Chula Vista. Call (619) 869-7067 for information.
