From staff reports
The San Diego Padres’ 2026 FanFest is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, at Petco Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event, presented by SeatGeek, will feature scheduled appearances and autograph signings by various Padres players, prospects, alumni and broadcasters.

Admission to Padres FanFest is free, with fans required to redeem digital tickets that are available at www.padres.com/FanFest. Fans may claim up to four complimentary tickets which will appear in their MLB Ballpark app by Jan. 27. To accommodate as many fans as possible, fans are limited to four free tickets that are eligible for one of two available entry times — either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.

Gates for FanFest will open to the general public at 10 a.m., with Padres Members receiving early entry beginning at 9 a.m. Parking is free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis in neighboring Padres-owned lots, including Lexus Premier Lot, Tailgate Lot and Padres Parkade, with spaces expected to fill quickly.

FanFest offers fans the first opportunity to interact with the 2026 Padres team. Padres players and alumni will be available for autographs during both morning and afternoon sessions at multiple designated locations throughout Petco Park. Autograph sessions will be guaranteed through a new reservation system with instructions to be communicated at a later date. Autograph schedules for Padres representatives will continue to remain a surprise. Fans will also have the opportunity to attend Q&A panels throughout the day featuring Padres players, coaches, and front office leadership on the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square beginning at 11 a.m.

Returning in 2026 is the fan-favorite Padres Foundation garage sale featuring memorabilia, one-of-a-kind Padres items, collectibles and more. The garage sale will take place in Park Blvd Plaza with merchandise being made available during both portions of FanFest (morning and afternoon sessions). All proceeds from the garage sale will benefit the Padres Foundation’s charitable efforts.

Fans will have the unique opportunity to participate in various activities on the playing field at Petco Park. In addition to kids ages 14 and younger running the bases, attendees can catch fly balls in the outfield. Additional experiences include tours of grounds crew equipment, a tour of the renovated Western Metal Supply Co. Building rooftop, photos in the home dugout, a Padres-themed 360 photo booth, and visits with the Paw Squad. Padres merchandise will be available for purchase in the Padres New Era Team Store, Gallagher Square Team Store and various retail locations throughout the ballpark.

Padres FanFest will also feature interactive experiences, including KidsFest activations with face painting in Gallagher Square, the Padres Hall of Fame presented by Motorola, the Breitbard Hall of Champions and The San Diego Section of CIF Baseball and Softball presented by San Diego Community Power located in Section 114. The Play Ball Field will also host clinics and open play for kids throughout the day.

Concessions will be open throughout the ballpark, with Padres season ticket members receiving a 10 percent discount on concessions and merchandise throughout the day.

Standard Petco Park security and screening procedures will be in place for Padres FanFest. Re-entry to the event is permitted, though fans who exit will be screened upon re-entering the ballpark.

Additional information about Padres FanFest can be found at www.padres.com/FanFest and in the MLB Ballpark app. Fans must download the app to scan their ticket upon entry and are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the app prior to attending the event.
