• South Bay Community Services (SBCS): Volunteers of all ages help SBCS expand and enhance programs and services for families in need. Becoming a volunteer is also personally and professionally rewarding. Not only will you create a lasting impact in the lives of others, but you will acquire valuable work experience and network with many people in your community. • Meals on Wheels South Bay: Volunteers are our lifeblood. We could not accomplish serving the thousands of seniors we serve throughout the year without the help of our devoted volunteers. They deliver meals, support our operations in the offices and at events, and are partners in keeping seniors healthy and independent in their own homes. • Catholic Charities: Catholic Charities offers you a variety of opportunities to stand in solidarity with the poor and vulnerable in our communities. • Birthline: More than 100 volunteers donate their time and talent to Birthline each week. Because Birthline is an all-volunteer organization your donation is not used for salaries but goes directly to buy diapers, wipes, food and new baby clothes for our infant gift bags. • City of Chula Vista: The City of Chula Vista has a long history of volunteerism, from our founding community members to the over 1,000 volunteers today who give of their time and talents. • Chula Vista Animal Care Facility: Volunteers help keep animals healthy, happy and adoptable! They truly make a difference and are always welcome! Volunteer assignments may include the care and feeding of animals, exercising animals, assisting the public with adoptions, clerical work and providing general maintenance and upkeep of the Animal Care Facility.
