Goodbye Chula Vista

Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things you’ll have to do in life. My husband Walt and I stand on the small beach that is part of J Street, Chula Vista RV Park, which pretty soon will be gone, rebuilt to a different type of destination.

Our family grew up staying at the Chula Vista RV Park for decades. Later in life it came to be the place we’d throw flowers in the bay for those we lost, including our oldest daughter.

Our grandchildren and our other children, along with friends and extended family members would all meet to have our special dinner at the Galley at the Marina. We would then walk to the bay to throw our flowers in and reminisce. We all will certainly miss our wonderful piece of heaven we had for over 30 years.
