Bradley Roberto, a member of the 2009 Park View Little League World Series championship team, has signed a professional contract with the Tri-City Valley Cats, a minor league affiliate of the American League Houston Astros.
The Cats competed in the independent Frontier League.
Roberto played three NCAA seasons with Franklin Pierce University.
A sports and recreation management major, he appeared in 118 collegiate games with 140 hits, 95 runs scored, 25 doubles, seven home runs and 67 RBI. He logged a 0.429 on-base percentage.
He finished his career 13th all-time with 71 walks for the Ravens, including a record 47 walks during the 2019 season.
Roberto’s college honor roll includes an All-Northeast-10 Conference first team selection, and All-East Region Second Team pick. He was also and a member of the NE10 academic honor roll at the Ridge, N.H. school.
After Park View, Roberto was a three-year letter-winner at Olympian High School, serving as team captain his senior year, all-league and team MVP selection. He also won three letters in wrestling.
The 2009 Blue Bombers entered their name in the Little League World Series record book with 104 home runs in 26 games.
