A book release reception for Chula Vista author Mark C. Jackson will take place on Thursday, Feb. 23, at The Nest on Third Avenue, 260½ Third Ave., Chula Vista.
An accomplished songwriter, performer and poet, Jackson has completed his first novel, “An Eye for an Eye.” The public is invited to come support this local author and check out The Nest, Chula Vista’s newest café arts space.
The reception will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend should RSVP by Monday, Feb. 20, at cvarts@chulavistaca.gov.
