Affidavits used to obtain search warrants allowing investigators with the District Attorney’s Office to raid the homes of school board officials were made public this week.
Officer Susan Rodriguez, who executed the search warrants, was assigned to investigate allegations involving former Sweetwater Union High School District Superintendent Jesus Gandara and school board members who failed to report gifts, travel funds and the misuse of a district credit card.
In the affidavit, Rodriguez states probable cause to believe that elected officials, officers and administrators of the Sweetwater district and Southwestern College committed various felony and misdemeanor violations of law related to the receipt of gifts from contractors and other related entities and individuals.
The homes of Pearl Quinones, Arlie Ricasa and Bertha Lopez were searched by law enforcement personnel last week.
Investigators also searched the homes of former board member Greg Sandoval and former Southwestern College vice president Nicholas Alioto.
The D.A’s Office also served warrants on the home of Henry Amigable of Seville Construction and John Wilson, former director of business services at Southwestern College.
