The wins keep piling up for the Olympian Eagles, who have garnered respect as the No. 2-ranked team among the San Diego Section's Division IV schools. The Eagles improved to 5-1 after last Friday's 52-8 non-league victory against the visiting San Ysidro Cougars.

Alex Cornist touched the ball just twice in the backfield but scored two touchdowns on runs of 35 and six yards. Rickey Srandard carried the ball nine times for 107 yards and also scored two rushing touchdowns. Srandard scored his first touchdown on a five-yard run and later closed out scoring in the game on a 40-yard jaunt.

Five players scored touchdowns for Olympian. Besides Cornist and Srandard, Andrell Snowden (32 yards) and Randy Jones (22 yards) both scored on interception returns while Kevun Ehm opened scoring in the game on a three-yard run.
