Olympian football team is flying high after 43-20 win over Lincoln

The Olympian High School football team is flying high and, like the Eagles they are, is flying right into Friday afternoon’s key non-league match-up at Point Loma.

Kick-off is 3:30 p.m.

The Eagles are 3-1 and are coming off an impressive 43-20 non-league win at Lincoln last Friday; Point Loma is 3-1 and is bidding to crack the San Diego Section’s top 10 rankings.

Both teams are on three-game winning streaks. The game is pivotal in terms of seeding for the upcoming Division I playoffs.

Olympian head coach Paul Van Nostrand called last Friday’s win over Lincoln a “good solid team win.”

“All three phases contributed toward victory,” the Eagles head coach explained. “Point Loma has a solid team and will be a big test for us.”
