The Sweetwater district certainly did teach their graduates about all that is wrong and corrupt in local government! "Pay for Play" contracts, back room deals, the "good old boy network" and more! An entire school board ousted, glaring problems overlooked while loads of money thrown at other problems to make them disappear. If the students did learn what this editorial hopes they did, it's thanks to the teachers and not the administration of this district.

Family members, any and all, are responsible for their OWN actions. What is that saying friendships are a choice - family members - a sentence we have no control over.

Such poignant words, hopefully teachers, adults, Administrators or Commencement speakers will incorporate them into our Seniors Graduation conversations.

Little do many of them realize the impact this upcoming election will have on their very futures.

I would like to thank Roberto Moreno for writing this great article. I hope this makes our community aware of the importance of Computer Science Education for our children in public education. Thanks again Robert!

Well Mr. Moreno it us hard to expand on the revelations of your opinions.

What has happened to this Nation, and this City - self serving, egocentric, unqualified, special interest supported wanna be's - enough to make a maggot gag!!!!!!!

Hmmmm, perhaps, based on the shenanigans we have witnessed in C.V politics historically, it might just be a good idea to have the best person hired for the job - regardless of residency.

No, No, No. If this gets voted in along with .5% increase SANDAG is requesting our sales tax will be 9%!! Enough is enough. The city council keeps adding homes/condos/ apartments to the Eastlake area and do away with areas that are zoned for businesses. I say put a referendum for a decrease in pay for the city council instead!

Interesting how Rudy is all up in arms about Reyes moving into a district just to run for office. If Rudy is a true west chula vista resident, how was he able to run for the 79th Assembly District?

Taggers deface property and make our local businesses look like dumps, and the D.A. wants to charge the property owner? Thanks for nothing D.A.
