Help with a big transition For Promotional Consideration | Sat, Apr 19 2014 12:00 PM

My parents moved to Chula Vista in 1966. I was a Navy brat and grew up here in the ’70s and ’80s. That was such an amazing time to grow up with so many incredible memories here!

Families were a lot closer then, and many parents were more involved in their children’s activities. These people have, and will always have, a special place in my heart. Now I see many of these people aging out of their homes and needing some help in the process.

I started doing real estate as a Realtor over 10 years ago and it became an instant passion for me. I saw that many of my friends’ parents were starting to transition from their homes to other living arrangements, such as senior apartments and assisted living.

This required some additional effort because we all can accumulate many things in our own household over the years.

In helping some seniors selling their homes, including my mom, I thought that it would be extremely beneficial if someone specialized in helping seniors sell their homes and to assist them in the process. In recognizing this need I decided to dedicate myself to working with seniors. It is important to truly understand these needs and look out for the best interest of our own seniors as they are the solid foundation of our communities. Protecting their number one asset is of utmost importance.

There can be a lot involved in moving and making a transition to another residence. Decisions have to be made about belongings and moving has to be coordinated. I am able to help seniors make such decisions and have developed a network of other agencies that have the same passion to help.

There are specialized businesses I work with that help seniors with estate selling and moving. I can also assist with assisted living selection, if needed, as I have been in the industry over 15 years.

Please call me to talk about any of your current or future real estate needs. Sincerely, Philip Curtis 619-754-5250.
