One of the more difficult things about losing weight is that just going about it by cutting calories will cause your body to make up for some of the missing calories by burning up muscle instead. Muscle is necessary to lose and maintain weight so losing it as well can have many bad side effects. Less muscle means, along with other things, lower metabolism which makes further weight loss more difficult.
This is a problem even for young people in their 20s and 30s but is even more of a problem for seniors. A 2005 study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that the problem of retaining muscle mass in seniors was significantly more difficult during weight loss.
In part the difficulty exists because muscle mass in seniors is typically trending downwards already and in part because seniors are typically much less able to do the vigorous exercise that builds and preserves muscle mass during weight loss.
There is an additional problem seniors face in that once muscle is lost it is much more difficult to put back on.
This amounts to a triple threat for seniors who wish to lose weight and must be addressed if you are to safely do so without sacrificing precious muscle.
There is one factor which, if correctly handled, prevents loss of muscle mass in seniors attempting to diet and which makes it more possible to replace muscle lost over time. In essence, this factor turns back the clock safely on your body’s ability to burn fat and create new muscle.
That factor is your body’s lowered production of specific hormones, and the safe, effective way to supplement them without endless tests and doctor visits. There are three hormones, DHEA, HGH and Testosterone in men or Progesterone in women, which are produced in large quantities in the young but trail off to a quarter or less of their former amounts in seniors. This is not an illness. It is a normal part of the aging process. But that does not mean that you can’t do anything about it.
By supplementing these hormones with a homeopathic treatment, no injections are necessary and the energy and vitality of youth begins to return. Your metabolism increases and the tendency to burn muscle decreases. In fact, the trend on muscle loss reverses and muscle building returns.
This type of treatment has been in use for over 35 years so you don’t have to worry about being a guinea pig.
These high quality hormone treatments are available as cremes and are in use in my office as part of my weight loss system and my anti-aging systems.
