The 10th annual Chula Vista Rotary Wine and Food Festival should liven up any foodie’s taste buds when many of the region’s prominent restaurants pair dishes with a choice of spirits from local breweries and wineries.
The upscale event, which serves as a fund raiser for the Chula Vista Rotary Club, will take place Aug. 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Otay Ranch Town Center.
This year’s participants include Allures, California Pizza Kitchen, Chick-fil-A, Chris’s Ono Grinds Café & Grill, Eastlake Tavern + Bowl, Edible Arrangements, Gingham, Gourmet Blends, King’s Fish House, La Bella Pizza Garden, Los Arcos Restaurant, Miguel’s Cocina, Pick Up Stix, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Romesco Baja Med Bistro, Rubio’s, Specialty Produce, The Steak House on Broadway, Via Lago Trattoria by Busalacchi and Villa Capri.
Breweries represented include Magners Irish Cider, Manzanita Brewing Company, Stone Brewing Co., TailGate Beer, The Beer Company and The Brew House at Eastlake. Wineries include Barefoot Wine and Bubbly, Barrio Logan Winery, California Fruit Wine, ONEHOPE Wine, PRP Wine International, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Schlossadler Wines, Quady Winery, Quigley Fine Wines and Trader Joe’s Eastlake.
Other vendors include 1 Spirit, Casa ZG, Honest Tea, Saint James Spirits and Tequila Adan y Eva.
Guests may enjoy live entertainment and a silent auction while supporting the Chula Vista Rotary Club and its many service projects, including the Chula Vista Fire Department, youth programs and scholarships, South Bay YMCA and Special Olympics, among others.
Otay Ranch Town Center is located at Olympic Parkway and Eastlake Parkway.
