Jenelle Hudson had 10 kills and 17 digs, Meagan Wright had 11 kills and seven digs and Cari Hudson had 36 assists as the host Bonita Vista Barons swept the West Hills Wolfpack from the San Diego Section Division II playoffs by scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-13 in Tuesday’s opening round.
Bonita Vista (14-10) advances to meet top-seeded Scripps Ranch (24-12) in a quarterfinal-round match-up on Friday, Nov. 12.
West Hills finished the season 7-13.
The Barons were among a long list of 11 South County teams to gain entry into this year’s section playoffs. Otay Ranch (19-12) and Eastlake (24-6) both were drawn into the Division I field. Hilltop (13-12) joined Bonita Vista in the Division II field. Olympian (18-6), Mar Vista (12-13), Castle Park (17-5) and Montgomery (10-10) all made the Division III playoff cut. Mater Dei Catholic (4-15) qualified for the Division IV playoffs while Ocean View Christian (10-5) and Lutheran (10-6) both qualified for the Division V playoffs.

In Division II, Hilltop (13-13) was swept in three games by Point Loma (18-16) by scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-9.
In Division IV, Mater Dei Catholic (4-16) lost in four games to Palo Verde (13-9) by scores of 25-20, 15-25, 22-25, 17-25.
In Division V, Ocean View Christian Academy (10-6) was swept by top-seeded Tri-City Christian (20-3) in three games 25-9, 25-10, 25-9.
