Seniors in transition: Help is here Phillip Curtis | Sat, May 03 2014 12:00 PM

Many of our Seniors have been a part of our beautiful community for many years and some may have never moved before without the help of family and loved ones.  At some point in life most of us transition from our lifelong homes into another type of residency.  It can be stressful and, often times, there does not appear to be sufficient resources available to make the move happen.

When forming Philip Curtis Realty, attention-to-detail for the needs of our seniors when selling their home was priority #1 for me and my team.

Preparing for a move entails physical sorting of items, deciding what to do with them as well as packing and preparing for the move itself.  Also, getting the house ready for a sale involves some coordination and consideration as the person may have no prior experience with the sale process.  I want to help take away the potential stress that this process involves as I have come to specialize in this exact process.

Listing your home with Philip Curtis Realty is a multi-beneficial partnership between the client, their family and myself, my all-inclusive services start immediately and even help with the process of organization and sorting of personal belongings that will need to be saved, recycled or donated back to the community.

My lifelong career work has been senior and health focused, working with a realtor that is sensitive to the needs of seniors is important, let my experience and knowledge go to work for you to achieve the smoothest transition and maximum value from the sale of your home.  The home can be sold ‘as is’ which usually is the easiest way, or Philip Curtis Realty can collaborate with the client to make a few recommendations for improvements (which may or may not be taken) to add value.  I’ve noticed many homes owned by seniors have Pride of Ownership and very little, if anything needs to be done.

Thank for taking the time to read this and have a great day!
