There are still more of these people left at the school sites. This corruption continues, the favoritism, the discrimination, the dishonesty still is happening. It is a culture with several high ranking administrators, who are the mentees of those who already have been charged. There are still 2 generations of these people. Those in highest ranking positions who have at least 20 years serving those are the next bad batch. But they'll spread the practice if their not stopped.

She got off way to easy. The judge is doing a terrible job with these people! She is showing us that she doesn't care about the people these crooks ripped off. SWC needs to fire her. If these public figures don't get hurt in the pocket book then then the crimes will continue. I don't even know how she can show up for work.

SWC should let her go, as well.

It is a sickening testament to our justice system that these criminals received such lenient sentences. Each and every one of them knew what they were doing, and had no problem putting themselves first, instead of being there as good stewards for the district.

Judge Espana let us all down. Please do not forget her when her next election comes up!

It is clear Ms. Ricasa continues to deny, deny, deny her role in 'the largest corruption case in San Diego history'. Case in point all of the family members she lured into court claiming her value. Really? Explain the Bev Mo bill Ms. Ricasa, explain the payment for her child's pageant, and all of the other freebies you were the recipient of - those 'gifts' had strings and for her to claim they didn't is an insult.

Perhaps as her Community Service she might serve as a custodian so she could get a first hand view of the many needs of the campuses. All of those Prop O dollars wasted and RICASA DID NOTHING. Starting with Bonita High.

Not only is Ricasa a disgrace to her community, but she is a disgrace to her heritage.

Of course this isn't fair--it isn't fair because there isn't much justice. Arlie still has her job at SWC, although she was demoted. She hasn't had to answer for her bad decisions which supported Ed Brand in whatever misbegotten plan he was rigging up at any given time. She has wasted taxpayer dollars, and apparently not really felt bad about that. Arlie feels sorry for herself, we have been given to know. Arlie should feel sorry for what she has done--which is betray all those who really thought she was there to provide leadership for the schools.
