Rain is an absolute necessity, not only for our environment but for our household budgets. One or two days of rain makes it possible for my sprinklers to remain off for the next 7-10 days. Water is vital to our way of life in California, so much so that it staggers the mind as to why so very few in leadership or representative positions have proposed, endorsed, or lead the charge to fast track more desalination plants in the state. Most importantly to the readers "here"a desalination plant for the south bay region. The Land is available if you know where to look (Hint: south end of the silver strand on/near old Navy Receiver site). And lastly, with the proper representation in Washington, funding could be acquired a 1000 times easier than the loser bullet train. Just a thought.
