Magic of the holidays

Experience a memorable holiday with snow falling, caroling groups and new giant Snow Globe at Village Walk at EastLake.  Take pictures and videos inside the giant Snow Globe on December 3, 10 and 17 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Village Walk at EastLake, located at the intersection of EastLake Parkway and Miller Drive in Chula Vista.

The annual events at Village Walk at EastLake begin at the Holiday Family Festival on Saturday, December 2 from 12 – 3 p.m.   Santa Claus will give each child a coloring book and pose with them for pictures in his sleigh.  The event also features train rides and holiday craft activity where children ages 12 and under can make a jingle bell bracelet or tree ornament.  A special daytime snow will fall at 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. during the Festival.

The annual magical snow from December 2 – 24 is accompanied by choreographed music and lights.  Each year the beautiful shopping center’s courtyard near the Koi Pond is transformed into a winter wonderland as the magical snow falls twice nightly at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Children receive free “magic” glasses to watch the snow falling in rainbow colors.  Between the snowfalls, caroling groups walk through Village Walk at EastLake to entertain guests with live holiday music.

“The nightly snowfall draws visitors from throughout San Diego County, many who use the setting to take their Christmas card photos and videos. On three Sundays in December, the new walk-in Snow Globe offers another magical setting to take photos,” said property manager Dianna Lawless.
