A Chula Vista man pleaded guilty March 2 to stealing a black Ford truck from a Chula Vista firefighter. Carlos Olachea, 31, will be sentenced April 3 in Chula Vista Superior Court. Judge Kathleen Lewis dismissed charges of felony evasion of police, receiving stolen property and driving without a license after Olachea admitted the auto theft. Olachea is a parolee and remains in the George Bailey Detention Facility on $25,000 bail.
