The Lady Red Devils should be commended for their hard work and dedication.

It is important to make note of the following, they are led by Coach Huckabee - this lady is indeed an inspirational Coach and mentor. What many are not aware of is the following - Coach Huckabee is in it for the students, and the students alone. She demands their commitment to strive for the best grades as possible by hosting regular homework sessions. She collects the cell phones at the door and the girls turn their attention to what is most important - academics. The fact that she has inspired her team to strive for excellence both in the classroom and on the court should be recognized by the Sweetwater High School District. Now if we could only clone her integrity and ethics as a Coach who understands what its all about - the students, not the Coach's winning record.
