Stabber gets 15-plus

A South Bay woman who stabbed a National City woman to death in 2009 was sentenced Feb. 2 to 15 years to life in prison.

Antoinette Latrice Dokes, 20, was fined $10,000 by Chula Vista Superior Court Judge Timothy Walsh, who gave her credit for already serving 656 days in jail. The victim was Justice Brown, 18.

Dokes had a dispute with Brown over a mutual boyfriend and his car.
