South Bay Community Services is holding its annual Change Their Lives Extravaganza today.
The Chula Vista nonprofit organization organizes the fundraiser each year to benefit and raise awareness for the children of Casa Seguras and Mi Escuelita Therapeutic Preschool.
The free program is for children affected by family violence and provides specialized services for 3- to 5-year-olds and their families five days a week, including parenting classes, behavioral, developmental and physical therapy services.
More than 300 business, civic and community leaders have worked together for the last 40-plus years to raise money for victims of domestic violence and their children.
