TEMPORARY tax hike???? Ther is no such thing......
Poor leaderships answer to financial issues - CALL FOR A NEW TAX OR BOND.
Communities response - N O spells NO
Interesting story. Let's see how the defendants react to this. And how different defendants affiliated with the district react to a different case next month.
Major problems arise when the public does not have access to the financial side of things. Temptation is just too great, I guess.
So what is the Sweetwater Board trying to hide now? I am very grateful that Mr. Marinovich keeps fighting the good fight. We need so many more to join in this fight for the public's right to know.
The public has a right to know what is going on with all bond monies. Just what is happening with all of our Mello-Roos fees that we have paid? I wish there was a Bond Oversight Committee for that--and yes, we, the public would need to ensure that it--were it to exist--would not be stocked with the flunkies this Sweetwater Board seems to have such an affinity for.
Where are the honest board members? An endangered species, due to their own inability to stay honest?
Leave Paula hall alone. She enables I mean supports our union cause. Paula hall and Nick Segura are an excellent addition to the sweetwater district school board. We need more enabling I mean pro union board members on our board!

I applaud the City Council's decision to remove the item from their agenda. In 2004 the voters rightfully voted to have term limits for the Mayor's office. It should only be the voters that decide whether to discuss this issue again, or not.
Looks like someone from old board gave Hall a copy of their playbook. Good for Marinoviche for having the guts to make this public. Heck no we don't like this we didn't like it when the past board did it why would we like it now.

Mr. Morrison please,,,,,,, based on the turnout at the meeting it was more than clear the residents of National City had no such intent in mind. While the residents appreciate your hard work - it is time to go! National City has, within its City limits MANY who have MUCH to offer IF they so choose to serve. Ms. Sotello- Solis and Ms. Rios comments are the thoughts of many.
***just my opinion
So the city doesn't offer licenses and they're reprimanding there dispensaries for not having the licenses that they don't give out in the first place? Why are these liscenses being denied in the first place for these dispensaries? This is un American and it's all because of biased opinions within these city councils. You're all a bunch of crooks!
The residents of National City should be commended for turning out in large numbers to send the message "While we THANK YOU for your service, your time is up" - respectfully submitted.
Ms. Rios is an excellent example of the fine leadership on the National City City Council.
Much is owed and can NEVER be repaid to all of the young men AND the families whom mourn their loss.
My father a retired Corpsman reenlisted because he believed his skills were needed to help save lives. I have memories of young men coming over to pick me up for a date and my father asking 'So tell me young man why aren't you serving your country, are you one of those 4Fers'?
Ali was and has always been one of my heroes - not saying I agreed with his political stance, but having said that he was a man of his convictions, and that too respected.
He was and will always remain one of the greatest, if not THE GREATEST FIGHTERS OF ALL TIMES.
Can you tell me what the status is of this location now? It became Dolphins and that is closed. Anything happening there now?
