Compelling article! It inspired me to research murder rates because I thought that surely Flint couldn't be as bad as you're claiming. According to the internet, San Pedro Sula, Honduras is the murder capital of the world, with more than three intentional homicides per day. Sadly, St. Louis, Detroit, Baltimore, Oakland and New Orleans are the U.S. representatives on the world's Top 50 Violent Cities list. And sure enough, there sat Flint on top within its own population sub-category. Interestingly, none of top 50 cities was in Europe and only one was in Asia. It's enough to make upstanding citizens lose heart!

Mr. Davalos, thanks again for your honest creative reporting.Freedom of the press is still alive and well in Chula Vista thanks to you. It will be interesting to see if you get a letter from legal council(Mr. Winet) I seriously doubt it because I can't see tim Glover putting up with these immature McCann tantrums. Maybe it's time for one of your reflective sitting on the stool stories about anything but Mr. McCan't.

And we want to know why John Mc Cann wants to use Ed Brand as a consultant - ha, he wants more of those alleged taxpayer paid for cease and desist letters paid for OUT OF OUR FREAKIN' POCKETS!!!!!! Mr. Davalos, no doubt. McCann is, somewhere throwing an absolute hissy fit.

So, let me ask you all, is this what the city of Chula Vista needs or wants sitting on the City Council? I encourage all reading this to forward it on, John McCann has failed us. Another example of McCanns loyalty to Brand was his attempt to not address the agenda item at the Board meeting last Monday addressing the bylaw change and the continued membership of 2 well respected committee members on the Bond Oversight Committee. Brand wanted O'Neill and Marinovich gone - outta here - but alas Ms. Hartley and Ms. Neylon saw right thru McCanns stunt and extended the meeting so both mens positions were saved. What men in their right minds attempts to stop one of the few things that work at Sweetwater - ah, that would be John McCann, Ed Brand and two employees that answereD to Brand.

Stay tuned, have we learned the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth regarding the property deals - tread carefully all involved. - this community, the IRS, the authorities deserve honest answers to legitimate questions. So, take your dancing shoes off, stand up straight, raise your right hand and ..................
