City has options it doesn’t use

The city cries they have no money for police and fire, while ignoring a goldmine revenue source in our city.

If they were to suddenly enforce Section 21750 of the vehicle code and designate the revenue from fines to the police and fire, there would have been no need for Proposition “A”.

The excess noise from motor vehicles in our city has reached epidemic levels. At times the noise level on East J Street going east from the fire station, nearly sounds like a racetrack, and it is not all motorcycles.

Also if an officer were posted at the northbound on ramp to 805 from Telegraph Canyon Road he could probably write a book of tickets an hour.

Please consider enforcing this, if not for the revenue, then our sanity.
